Sixth Sunday After Pentecost: "Re-imagining the Beloved Community"
Good morning family, friends and visitors of the African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas. Over the past several months, the spread of COVID19 has forced the world to re-imagine how we live, from the mundane to the extraordinary, from every corner of the globe to every community of faith. And as we re-imagine our church, the Gospel this week reminds us to plant spiritual seeds on fertile soil to yield a bountiful, spiritual landscape. We pray that today's service assuages the fear of the unknown, embracing our new normal, from the secular to the spiritual spaces of our lives. May God continue to bless and keep us..
